University of Vermont Celtic Cats
We are the University of Vermont's first, only, and best Irish dancing club!
Ever seen Riverdance? Perhaps, Lord of the Dance? Ever wanted to give it a try? If that's the case, the Celtic Cats might be for you. We provide an opportunity for members with no experience to learn as well as a place for old pros to keep dancing. Lots of performance opportunitites, a fun and rewarding experience, and confidence-building are our top priorities for our members.
In our short history since inception in 2009, we already boast costumes and original choreography by many talented members of our team. We perform at events including UVM basketball games, the Orchesis dance shows, the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf, St. Patrick's day gigs in downtown Burlington, and our own Céilí.
NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Come to a practice to try it out if you're not sure!
